The former is free, and the latter is free too, but it’s a trial account with a limited time duration; you can get almost 2 free premium audiobooks. You can listen to them multiple times within your trial deadline. You can pick whichever you feel comfortable with and listen to high-quality audiobooks.

There is a section on Audible called Free Listens where you can access hundreds of free Audible Audiobooks and Originals. Yes, they are totally free. You can stream audiobooks, podcasts, originals, etc., for free. You don’t need any trial or membership/subscription for this. You just need an Amazon account, aka an Audible account.
