The Penguin Book Of Norse Myths Gods Of The Vikings By Kevin Crossley Holland

Here’s a confession, I love reading about history, mythology, and other exciting subjects. And I love it when I read the authentic equivalents of the same. However, most of these books are written in a profoundly academic language, making them difficult to read and, to an extent, dull. This is why Norse Myths by Kevin Crossley-Holland is one of my favorite books on this subject. The author has a very upbeat, lively approach which makes the book exciting and easily graspable. However, the author hasn’t kept any stone unturned to deliver the most authentic myths without blandly stuffing footnotes with statements.
