Like the title suggests, this book is literally a yogi’s guide to joy for the common people.

We wake up every single morning, working harder than before to turn our dreams into our reality. All of us have a dream life of our own that will bring us the highest levels of happiness, and we keep hustling to reach those levels. We think about our future so much that we forget that the present is running out, and our present is all we have right now. Then why do we take our present for granted all the time? In fact, the future that we think about so obsessively will also become our present one day.
The problem is – we have linked our joy with things and experiences. So, until we get those things and live those experiences, joy continues to be unreachable. He has talked about our body, mind, energy, and joy in full detail so that all your concepts regarding the science of yoga are clear.
Personally, I enjoyed this book thoroughly. But this book is much more than just an enjoyable read. It’s a guide that has the ability to provide you so much wisdom only if you read it with faith and an open mind. The sadhanas are actually very effective. I tried all of them while I was reading this book, and frankly, they actually work so effectively. Just to give you a little idea, one of the sadhanas was to keep your back straight all the time for one week. I did the sadhana, and within the first four days, I saw a drastic change in my mood and behavior. It’s difficult to explain the change in words. It’s something that you can solely experience once you do it yourself.
