Audiobooks are getting popular every day. You get almost all the popular books in audiobook format, some even narrated by the author. Audiobooks make me focused and attentive like I’m in a classroom listening to the teacher. Initially, getting used to this was hard, but I started listening while walking. Instead of songs/music and podcasts, I experimented with my favorite audiobooks. It was a good experience. Some people even prefer to read the book and listen to the audiobook simultaneously, or vice versa.
It’s undoubtedly perfect if you love books and if you love listening to good story narration in general. Audible is my go-to place for all the popular audiobooks because it’s from Amazon, and they have a vast database. I love their app, and it’s a bit addictive for me, which is a good thing. If you want to gift someone this whole “Audible” experience, then there is an easy way to do that. I’ll share the procedure to gift audible card membership here. How To Gift Audible Subscription?
First, you have to visit the Amazon Audible – Gift Center 🎁 section. Here you will see monthly plans ranging from 1 month to 12 months. The 1 month plan will cost you $15, and they’ll get 1 credit through which they can buy one of their favorite audiobooks. The 12 months plan will cost you $150 (you’ll save $30 here), and they’ll get 12 credits through which they can buy 12 favorite audiobooks. Along with this, they’ll also get access to their Plus Catalog, where they can find 1000s of originals, audiobooks, and podcasts, including their exclusive series. They don’t have to spend Audible credits for this.
How To Gift Audible Books? Is That Possible?
That’s possible too. You can browse their catalog, open any interested audiobook product page, and select the “Give as a gift 🎁” option. That’s all. If they already have the audiobook you gifted, don’t worry; they will change the gift to a coupon or credit, which they can use to choose another audiobook.

The best part is you can give this as a gift to someone who is already an Audible customer. By default, they’ll get only one credit per month, that is, 1 audiobook per month. And your gift could give them more credit. This will not affect their existing plan, but this gift won’t extend their membership as well. They will get all their credits at once. Let’s say they already have like 10 credits; if you gift them 12 credits, they’ll have 22 credits with them at once.
After you send the gift membership, the Audible credits will be active for an entire year from the date they are issued. Last but not least, once you send the Audible Gift Membership to your loved one, like a friend, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, brother, sister, father, mother, etc., you can check the claim status in the “Gift History” section on your account. Audible will also send 3 reminder emails if they miss checking their emails.
You can also schedule the delivery date; suppose you want to buy the membership gift now, but you want it to be delivered next week during someone’s birthday, anniversary, etc., then that’s possible too. You can write a greeting to them along with your gift. You can also customize the gift card, like, do you want it to be Christmas-themed or just Happy Birthday or Happy Valentine’s Day, etc.?
Finally, you can check the preview and buy it + send/schedule it. You can also try Audible for 30 days (Free Trial) 🎧 and experience the love of audiobooks. To begin this journey, you’ll get a FREE credit, aka one audiobook. In some countries, you even get a 2-month free trial. Sign up for the Audible trial, visit their catalog, pick your favorite title, listen to the sample audio, and see if it’s good to go.
Then you can use your free credit(s) to buy them and start listening. When you are new to audiobooks, make sure you pick something that you really love about, and not just because it’s popular and viral.
